Louis and the BrothelNevada: the Wild Horse Resort and Spa, the newest legal brothel in the state. Louis Theroux is here to help the working women of the Spa move in and understand the launch and workings of the new establishment, labelled the most ambitious brothel in Nevada's history. The Wild Horse is run by Lance Gilman, one of Nevada's richest real estate developers, and his partner Susan Austin. Upon first meeting the couple, Louis is shown a photograph of the couple dressed in black gothic clothing, and discovers they had fallen in love just two years ago when Susan was a prostitute and Lance her customer. Using Lance's financial support and Susan's prostitution experience, the couple constructed the four million dollar estate. Louis meets Hayley, one of the women working at the Wild Horse. She is seen getting ready and asks Louis if he has any questions. In discussion about the job, she feels Susan and her have a good relationship and that she works hard. She reveals Susan's desire for it not to be a brothel where you simply walk in, have intercourse and leave, but moreso a place for customers to relax and enjoy themselves. Louis disagrees with the idea of prostitution, enjoying sexual intercourse with a person he feels he connects with. Louis says he "might" experience prostitution but he reminds Hayley he has a career to look after and that the press would hurt his reputation should he travel down that avenue. Hayley asks Louis to comment on her body, to which he suggests she is athletic and obviously works out. He continues and mentions she seems smart and asks how she's subsequently got into prostitution. Hayley blames laziness and firstly hated her choice to become a prostitute but is now comfortable. As the crew leave, she offers them all a blowjob, much to Louis' obvious surprise. Next we see Louis in a large room, backed by a wall of mirrors. It is here where the prostitutes are paraded before the clientele of the Wild Horse. Women enter one by one, introduce themselves to the client and proceeded to file just in front of the mirror. Susan does this so that each prostitute is given a few moments to have the full attention of the client, as well as allow them to see the true personality of each woman. In another room, we see a series of intercoms hooked up to "negotiating rooms", where the women check the clients genitals for disease, so they cannot skim money from the brothel. Susan is also shown to be helpful to the women who are struggling at life, highlighting her generous nature. Meeting Malcolm McKay?, a veteran of Vietnam and a maker of false teeth, Louis explores his sexual tendancies. He is a reclusive man who lost his virginity as a teenager. Shortly after, the girls are shown to Malcolm before he settles on Emily, a blonde. After discussing what they plan to do, the prostitute checks Malcolm out and discovers his penis is perhaps too big for her, suggesting she'd rather put it in between a foot long hot dog bun. Calling him "big boy", she leads him to her room and puts sheets on the bed (presumably for hygeine) before performing her sexual task. The two later hug and Malcolm leaves a happy man, toasting the "wonderful world of brothels". Emily says she has had better men before, claiming Malcolm weirdly requested a mirror for the both to make love on, so that they could see the process more intimately. Malcolm is revealed to have put a irratant lotion on Emily's crotch. We discover she does this job due to her high sex drive. Next we see Louis answering the phone of the Wild Horse, fully immersing himself in the business of the brothel. Discussing with Hayley the custom, she says it's mainly white caucasian males who visit the brothel and that and average penis size of visitors is five and six inches, with Asian penises' usually smaller. Upon being suggested her comments are racist, Hayley replies that it's simple genetics. Louis suggests Hayley's a bit weird, which she denies, before asking to stop filming. Louis declares filming with Hayley is becomming increasingly difficult, as she drives a car away with no top on, while Louis sits beside her confused by her actions. As they drive away from the Brothel, Hayley is seen shouting "I'm touching his penis!" to the camera crew. She continutes to horse around with the camera crew, bearing her breasts and demanding an ultimatum with Louis: no more filming unless he does a party with her. The owners of the Wild Horse reveal she is quite a manipulating individual, perhaps explaining her strange tendancies. Later Hayley keeps asking Louis for sex, saying he'll come around eventually through a lack of things to do. Susan is seen saying business is going well, declaring daytime business is sometimes outpacing evening business. Speaking with Shanice, Louis finds she is settling into the house well. She doesn't mind being a prostitute, but used to feel uncomfortable about it. Shanice is seen talking to a customer who comments on the cleanliness of the place. Louis interviews him shortly thereafter and finds he is more after a friend than a sexual partner, following the personal trauma of losing his wife and being terminally ill. Shanice stood out to him as she doesn't appear to be false or fake, a quality he admires. He intends to keep her as a regular, but insists it is purely a business relationship, and there is no romance involved. Louis speaks with Shanice saying she seems caring, to which she replies that it is a necessary quality in the business, as a lot of customers require it. Three weeks into his tenure, Louis finds several aspects of the business less shocking, finding the fact that women were selling something more intimate than sex more harrowing than the sex itself. He wondered if it was easy to draw the line between business and emotion. While in the kitchen, Hayley intends to take Louis for a massage, but at a price. Louis wonders if this is because she feels Louis is superior in his attitude, something Hayley had said previously. She suggests it stems from the assumption most British people act superior, rather than a personal opinion. Nervously, Louis proceeds to the negotation rooms with Hayley to discuss a price, which is settled at £200. Louis pays with a credit card, signs a receipt and proceeds to the massage. She starts with small talk before making Louis undress. She laughs at him and he asks her to size him up. She suggests he is kinky and likes to have his nipples pinched, before proceeding to massage him. She removes the towel but replaces it after Louis asks her to. Hayley doesn't date much while she's working, and has one relationship in the past 4 years. Hayley reveals she lost her sex drive after her marriage, but divorced on grounds of not liking each other anymore, but her comments suggest he was quite possessive. For an interesting chat, Louis would have to pay more money. The next day he meets Susan away from the brothel. Susan genuinely believes Emily could go to college, but that Hayley is a free spirit and is very hard to pin down in terms of her future. Susan shockingly reveals Hayley is partially deaf in one ear, on account of being shot there by her husband, who did it on account of being unbalanced, before killing himself. Later on, Louis meets 21 year old Belle in the kitchens, another prostitute working at the Wild Horse. She's new into the business, and says she's done pornography and escorting prior to this, and she's a "kleptomaniac", though Louis corrects her and says "nymphomaniac". Belle reveals she has a husband who is aware of her profession, but doesn't mind, mainly on account of the money. Susan enters and discusses that quite a few paedophiles use the brothel's services, and that she would rather them come here and sleep with young looking girls like Belle, rather than break the law. The Saloon of the Wild Horse had just opened, bringing with it alcohol and subsequently binge drinking. Some of the working girls were exessively drinking while on the job and being rude to customers, the main culprit of which being Hayley, who had subsequently been fired on account of it. Louis discusses her sacking with her as she collects her things, but she's rushed along before any fact can be made of it. Lance says he will discuss it with Louis later. Susan says that Hayley has been bending the rules and acting up, blaming alcoholism on her behavior and demanding serious people working at her business. If one of the girls distrupts the ladies, nobody makes money. The brothel continued business without Hayley and saw the presence of a new customer more important. Meet Humping Hank. Renowned with the ladies, he likes to kiss the girls, which some of the girls wont do. Apparantly he is after the GFE, or "Girl Friend Experience", rather than straight sex. Hank is looking for companionship, but not commitment, like a lot of the regulars at the Wild Horse. Susan reveals even she has spent time with Hank, and that there were quite a few men after her. Common sense told Susan not to go away with Hank and be his partner. Interviewing Hank, his goals are two fold: to meet a beautiful lady and to have a wonderful time. Hank flies cross country to Nevada just to sleep with the working girls of the Wild Horse, and that he gets jealous when he can't keep a girl all to himself. The girl with him says Hank was showing off for the cameras during his interview, and later tells him off for acting so. Louis feels like he's intruding on the two as they are together. Days away from the grand opening, Hayley is still a no show, and Louis is troubled by Veronica's distance yet credibility and ability to decieve. As if on cue, Hayley appears again and speaks with Louis, telling him she's been drinking a lot. Now she's not drinking, she's smoking more. Hayley was fired but she is now allowed to work provided she is civil to customers and drinks no more than four drinks a night, keeping her alcoholism at bay. On the day of the grand opening, Susan's dream fast becomes a reality. Emily is seen praising Susan for her nurturing abilities on camera. Louis speaks of his attachment to the women, in friendly terms at least. In the final interview, Hayley admits she's an alcoholic and that she's bad when she's drunk. She says she wants someone to settle down with, but it's a difficult thing to attain. She also feels if she was still in the business in five years, it'd be a bad thing. Hayley wants more from life and wants to find her niche. Louis jokes around with the girls and a snake one of them has brought in, and it is clear he has become friendly with them. Emily laughs off the prospect of college when Louis asks about it, and leaves the Wild Horse as Hayley kisses him goodbye, calling Louis' girlfriend a lucky bitch. Yo.
